In Memory of Thomas L. McGreal

Dr. Thomas L. McGreal earned his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Illinois College of Education in 1968 and immediately joined the College as a professor, serving until his retirement in 2002.

As a lasting tribute to Dr. McGreal, his friends, family and colleagues established an endowed fund in his honor. The Thomas L. McGreal Award supports the recruitment and education of outstanding full-time doctoral students in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership (EPOL).
